Masuwe Lodge, situate 7km from Victoria Falls, has recently undergone a major refurb. Amanda Fisher was put in charge of the works and she appointed The African Touch to interpret and create the furniture pieces she wanted to give the lodge its unique character and superior comfort.
We developed a new modular lounge chair and coffee table combo design to allow different seating combinations for guests to be quickly put in place. This has proved to be a great success with clients commenting on the comfort and attractiveness of the chairs.
A more industrial look with steel and Zambezi teak combinations was another feature of the design concepts.
For the rooms we introduced some lighter tones with contrasting dark chocolate elements.
