Description

Description

The Expedition Folding Tables were developed by the African Touch 20 years ago and have proven to be one of our most successful products. They are a strong, stable version of the classic folding camping tables traditionally used on African safaris and in Safari Camps and Lodges as a side table or a boma table for taking meals in the bush. The table folds neatly and is quick and simple to set up. The turned carry handle is comfortable in the hand. The top and legs are accurately handcrafted to give the whole structure rigidity.

It is constructed from ultra-tough Zambezi Teak (formerly known as Rhodesian Teak) or old growth plantation hardwood sourced in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe. The strength of these timbers combined with excellent construction ensures a long lasting as well as very attractive product. The slats making up the top are both screwed and glued onto the rails to make sure they do not come loose, even after years of use.

Coming in different sizes it is ideal as a side table, dining table or work table in the home, office or on expedition. A canvas carry bag is an optional extra. It is an excellent addition to our Safari Director’s Chair or Roorkhee chair.

Guarantee

We offer a warrantee on Expedition Tables for defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.

We build with timber harvested from natural forests. The charm of this material is that no two pieces are exactly the same in colour, character or grain, and they will contain natural imperfections such as knots, stress cracks and so on that enhance their authenticity and attractiveness. As a result, no 2 pieces will ever be identical and products may have natural imperfections. However, these will never be allowed to compromise the quality of construction of your piece.

The African Touch will not in any circumstances be liable for any claim which falls outside the scope of our warranty or for any consequential damages whatsoever.
