The Military Bedside Table is a beautifully made and attractive small cabinet that can be used in many applications. The drawer box and top separate from the folding legs for easy storage and transport, true to the design ethos of campaign furniture. The drawer itself runs on silky smooth roller bearings, and is constructed right through from solid African hardwood.
Solid brass corner blocks, drawer pull and straps, imported from the United Kingdom, complete this iconic piece of Campaign furniture.
The Military Bedside Table is expertly hand crafted using the ultimate of solid wood joinery – the sliding dovetail joint. The drawer box is assembled with through dovetails. These are simply the strongest joints available for this type of construction.
The Military Bedside Table may be constructed of:
- Zambezi Teak (Baikiaea plurijuga) formerly known as Rhodesian Teak. Very hard with exceptional colour and grain.
- The solid brass corner blocks and straps are imported from the United Kingdom.

Due to the stresses and strains that a Military Bedside Table can be subject to, we cannot offer a lifetime guarantee on this product. However, we do offer a one-year warranty against defects in construction or material.
Please note that the timber used to hand make and Military Bedside Table is a natural hardwood that varied in colour and grain, so no two parts of a field bar will look the same nor will two field bars. Natural knots and growth cracks may be present, but these will not affect the integrity of the piece, but rather add to its charm and appearance.
The African Touch will not in any circumstances be liable for any claim which falls outside the scope of our warranty or for any consequential damages whatsoever.
