We are proud to announce our latest bespoke project for Samanzi Luxury Cabanas. A newly launched addition to The Shongwe Collection in Victoria Falls. When we were commissioned to create custom furniture for their rooms, we knew it would be an extraordinary project. Samanzi is all about refined elegance, calm sophistication, and thoughtful design, and we wanted the furniture to reflect exactly that.
Each suite features custom pieces handcrafted by our team at The African Touch, including:
Bespoke tongue-and-groove coffee bar stations
Floor-to-ceiling headboards
Elegant bedside tables and wardrobes with hand-stitched leather handles
Floating bathroom vanities with clean lines and practical design
Luggage racks and floating dressing tables mounted on wallpaper from Nicole Sanderson original artwork.
Every element was designed to feel natural within Samanzi’s atmosphere of quiet luxury. The light timber, soft textures, subtle brass & leather accents, and clean silhouettes create a sense of ease and balance; a space where guests can unwind completely while surrounded by craftsmanship that feels authentic and timeless.
From the start, this was a project we poured our hearts into. Seeing it come together within the lush surroundings of Samanzi, with its cascading pools, sunken firepit, and underground wine cellar, was incredibly rewarding. It’s a beautiful reminder of what can happen when good design, craftsmanship, and vision come together.
