The African Touch Campaign Folding Table is a beautiful, classy piece reminiscent of days of old when British Officers travelled in style and had the finest furniture pieces hand made for them by master craftsmen. The solid brass corner blocks not only protect the table from knocks and bumps but give it a beautiful, old world feel. This piece will grace any stately home, safari lodge or boardroom with elegance.

A canvas and leather trim carry bag is an optional extra.

The Campaign Folding Table goes very well with the Roorkhee Chair and Spanish Chair.

Description

Description

The African Touch Campaign Folding Table is a beautifully handmade piece produced in our Victoria Falls studio. It is made in the tradition of British Campaign furniture, later adapted for use on African safaris. The solid brass corner blocks protect the table from knocks and bumps and give it a stunning old world feel. This piece is often placed in upmarket homes or top end safari lodges. It has also been purchased as a server table for a classy boardroom.

Custom sizes can be made to order, though because it is a folding table there is a limit to the size we can safely produce. If you need to move the folding table regularly and would like a lighter table we recommend it is made from beautiful African bloodwood (also known as kiaat or mukwa). This is light in weight while having a splendid honey brown and red mixed colour and grain. However, for sheer durability combined with beauty, Zambezi Teak is the king of hardwoods!

The solid brass corner blocks are the finest available on the market, and are imported from Scotland.

A canvas and leather trim carry bag is an optional extra.

The Campaign Folding Table goes very well with the Roorkhee Chair and Spanish Chair.

We offer a warrantee on Campaign Tables for defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.

We build with timber harvested from natural forests. The charm of this material is that no two pieces are exactly the same in colour, character or grain, and they will contain natural imperfections such as knots, stress cracks and so on that enhance their authenticity and attractiveness. As a result, no 2 pieces will ever be identical and products may have natural imperfections. However, these will never be allowed to compromise the quality of construction of your piece.

The African Touch will not in any circumstances be liable for any claim which falls outside the scope of our warranty or for any consequential damages whatsoever.
