The Design
Simple, clean lines and refined detail characterise this elegant safari table. The detailed mouldings of the top and rails set it aside from other four leg tables. Available in sizes of 1800 mm x 900 mm or 900 mm square, the tables fit together easily and quickly to form longer tables, broader square tables or arranged in suitable configurations for conference facilities.
The legs of our Roosevelt Safari Table are placed in such a way as to not interfere with guests’ legs or chairs when pulled in.
The Material used.
We build this teak dining table from one of the finest hardwoods found globally, Zambezi Teak, also referred to as Rhodesian Teak. The timber is very hard and durable, difficult to work, but well worth the effort! It is a little heavy, so if you would prefer a lighter table, we can offer African Bloodwood. Also known as Kiaat it has a beautiful light brown to dark brown grain with irregular red or honey streaks.
Uses of the Roosevelt Safari Table.
This teak dining table is naturally ideal as a restaurant table or dining table for smaller households. It is also very useful as a meeting table in an office environment or for conference facilities. With a slatted top and oil finish it makes an excellent safari table for dining outdoors on the great African savanna. This table goes very well with either our Kariba or Safari High Back chairs.
